9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Detective Brian Simonsen Memorial Foundation Motorcycle Run

The Brian Simonsen Memorial Foundation will hold their second annual Motorcycle Run on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Registration begins at 9:00am, with kickstands up at 11:15am.
The fee to participate is $30.00 per motorcycle and $10.00 per passenger. All proceeds benefit the Brian Simonsen Memorial Foundation.
A Detectives Endowment Association canteen will provide breakfast at the starting point
An afterparty will be held at the Austin Ale House in Kew Gardens, with food, a cash bar, and live music.
NYPD Detective Brian “Smiles” Simonsen, 42, was killed by friendly fire during a shootout at a robbery in February, 2019. The foundation in his name offers scholarships to students in Riverhead.
