9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Amy King 5-K Run/Walk

The annual Amy King 5-K will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00am at the Lakewood Community Center in Lakewood, NY. The free Kids’ Race, for children 3-10, will begin at 11:30am. (Distances for the Kids’ Race will be determined by age.)
Registration will be held from 9:00am to 10:30am at the Community Center. The entry fee is $25.00. Proceeds will benefit the Amy King Kids’ YMCA Summer Camp and Southwestern Central School Scholarships.
Prizes will be awarded to the best costume.
Amy King was a flight attendant on United Flight 175. She was 29 years old on September 11, 2001 when terrorists hijacked her flight.
