Recovery workers from the Flight 93 crash site and survivors and recovery workers from the Pentagon attack are also eligible. \nSurvivors\, first responders\, residents\, community advocates\, union representatives and politicians will gather outside  the PATH Station entrance in front of 7 World Trade Center at 11:00am on Monday June 24\, 2013 to increase awareness of the upcoming deadline. \nMany people are eligible for free medical exams\, treatment for 9/11 injuries and medication under the WTC Health Program created by the Zadroga Act\, including those who lived and worked in Lower Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn in the year following 9/11 and those who were caught in the dust cloud. \nA number of people of those who may have been exposed to toxins at the site of the former World Trade Center\, the Pentagon and Shanksville are not aware that free medical monitoring and treatment for covered conditions is available. \nThe WTC Health Program will still take new applicants; however\,  ill and injured survivors and recovery workers must  register their claims with the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (“VCF”) for economic losses due to their KNOWN 9/11 injuries and illnesses by October 3\, 2013. \nThe Fund was reopened in 2010 when the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act was signed into law. The Zadroga law provides health care for those injured or made ill at the site of the collapse of the World Trade Center towers\, the Pentagon and Shanksville\, PA and reopens the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund to provide economic relief to those injured by the attacks.
