Clarkstown street dedicated to FDNY Lt. Joseph Stach who died of 9/11-related causes

FDNY Lieutenant Joseph Stach, who died of World Trade Center-related pancreatic cancer in January, has been remembered with the renaming of a Clarkstown street that now bears the name “Joe Stach’s Way.”

Lt. Stach was 51, and a 20-year FDNY veteran who was also a volunteer firefighter in Upper Nyack. His family and friends attended Saturday’s ceremony, reports Nicholas Tantillo of the Rockland/Westchester Journal News.
