Churches that survived 9/11 give in, install metal detectors

St. Paul’s Chapel, the historic church untouched by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 though it was across the street from the World Trade Center and its parent church, Trinity Church, have both installed airport-style metal detectors, reports Karen Matthews for Channel 4 NYC.

Officials said that after the bike path terror attack in lower Manhattan last year, it was decided to install them as a safety measure.
