Bomb-detection units coming to New York City’s Penn Station

New technology that can detect explosive vests worn by potential suicide bombers will soon be tested in Penn Station by the Transportation Security Administration. The device, known as QinetiQ SPO-NX has been used at the 2014 Super Bowl and other events.

Since the device is still being tested, it has yet to be permanently installed at a major transit hub, reports the Associated Press.
