Postcards Memorial now also honors recovery workers who died of 9/11 illnesses

The names of 66 police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel and recovery workers from Staten Island have now been carved in marble next to the Postcards 9/11 Memorial reports Amanda Farinacci of NY1.

A memorial ceremony for the recovery workers who died from illnesses contracted from toxins at the site of the former World Trade Center will be held every year, not on the anniversary of the attacks, but on a different day.
