The annual Wall-O’Mahony Basketball Game at Johns Hopkins University was played on Saturday, February 2, 2013. This year’s opponent was Swarthmore.
Long-time friends Matt O’Mahony and Glen Wall both played guard for the Blue Jays, both majored in political economy and both were murdered at Cantor Fitzgerald in Tower One of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Glen Wall was 38. Matthew O’Mahony was 39. Their alma mater honors them annually with the Wall-O’Mahony Memorial Basketball Game.
