Walk the original 1970s WTC subway concourse in current Transit Hub

Riders on the C or E trains heading for the World Trade Center can walk through a bit of history —  doors and flooring from the original World Trade Center’s subway concourse. The door still bears marks made by a search and rescue team after the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001 that destroyed the complex.

Nicole Saraniero of Untapped Cities took some photos of the spot that can be found here.
