US Marine Corps Heritage Museum 9/11 Memorial

A group of FDNY members are raising funds to construct a Memorial on the grounds of the US Marine Corps Heritage Museum in Quantico, VA. This memorial will represent the 17 FDNY members who were also US Marines, who were killed in the line of duty on September 11, 2001 and will include a piece of steel from the World Trade Center.

The fundraisers have had meetings with the staff of the Museum who informed them that if the group pays for the memorial the Marine Corps will maintain it for life. Please visit www.fdnyusmc.com, click on “Remembering Our Brothers” to see the names, faces and firehouses of these brave men, as well as an artist’s rendition of the memorial.
