They “Come from Away” — crew from some of the flights that landed at Gander on September 11, 2001 reunite to watch the musical

The American Airlines website reports on the crew reunion that happened on the November 2, 2017 performance of Broadway musical Come from Away.

Six American Airlines’ aircraft were diverted to tiny Gander, Newfoundland because of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 – American flights 101, 63 and 49; TWA flight 819; and US Airways flights 03 and 27.

The hit Broadway musical Come from Away tells the story of the kindness shown in that small Canadian town after 38 planes filled with frightened people landed there.
