Sex offender, 9/11 scammer sentenced for Megan’s Law violation

Thomas Scalgione, who ran a fake 9/11 charity, was sentenced  to one year in county jail after three different parole violations, writes Mike Davis in the Asbury Park Press.

Scalgione was sentenced to six months in jail in 2014 after he and  Mark Niemczyk raised more than $120,000 for a phony September 11th charity. The men gave no money to any 9/11 organization or victims.
