Pokémon Go players are angering visitors at sacred landmarks

In a stunning show of callous disrespect, the cellphone game Pokémon Go has set some of its characters in sacred places such as Arlington National Cemetery, the 9/11 Memorial and Holocaust museums in Washington, New York and Los Angeles.

At least 6 stops for the game appear on the 9/11 Memorial, reported Tom O’Connor and Sophia Rosenbaum of the New York Post.

Players of the wildly popular game use their mobile phones to track cartoon characters in real places via an app.
