Orlando Health, Florida Hospital won’t bill Pulse shooting victims

It has been announced that Orlando Health and Florida Hospital will not bill survivors of the Pulse nightclub massacre for out-of-pocket medical expenses report Kate Santich and Christal Hayes of the Orlando Sentinel.

“‘This is simply our way of paying that kindness [the support shown to the hospital after the shooting] forward,’ said Orlando Health CEO David Strong.”

Orlando Health’s hospital, Orlando Regional Medical Center, treated 44 injured victims of the attack.

Florida Hospital cared for 12 victims. They have stated that they will not bill victims’ insurance, and they have promised that any follow-up surgeries victims may need will be free.
