NY governor pardons 9/11 recovery worker facing deportation

New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo granted clemency to Carlos Cardona who worked in the recovery effort at the World Trade Center after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and who was facing deportation to his native Colombia reports Stefan Becket for CBS News.

The pardon does not guarantee that Mr. Cardona will be allowed to remain in this country, but should help in his quest for legal residency.
