New test may help spot pancreatic cancer early

University of Pennsylvania’s Institute for Regenerative Medicine has developed a new, low-cost blood test that may increase early detection rates for pancreatic cancer, reports HealthDay News.

Currently, pancreatic cancer is very hard to detect until it is well advanced.

Researchers say that the new test will at the least be of use and could lead to new treatments as well.
