Nassau County secures $125K to repair decaying 9/11 Memorial

Nassau County’s 9/11 Memorial will receive $125,000 in state funding to repair its badly damaged tiles, dirty flags, missing lights, and to make other repairs, reported Susan Edelman in the NY Post.

The memorial has been sorely neglected, desecrating the memories of the 344 Nassau County residents it should honor. It was dedicated nearly 10 years ago, but was built with substandard materials and has gone unrepaired and uncleaned since.
