Michigan “smart” home unveiled for triple amputee war veteran

On Flag Day, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation unveiled another home for one of our heroes, as Sergeant Ben Eberle, who lost three limbs in Afghanistan in 2011, moved into his new “smart” home, adapted for his needs.

“I have the jitters,” SSG. Eberle said. “I’m so excited. I’m so grateful. It’s just a really humble feeling. To be a part of something so patriotic is something else,” reported Blayke Roznowski of 9 & 10 News, Michigan.”I have a home where I can be myself again and be able to raise my family and my grandkids and, if I’m fortunate enough, my great grandkids.”
