Local trooper Michael J. Anson dies from disease linked to 9/11

New York State Trooper Michael J. Anson, a 31-year veteran of Albany County’s Troop G, died on January 2, 2018 of cancer linked to his work at the World Trade Center site after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. He was 56, a loving husband and father of three, reports the Albany Times Union.
