Ground Zero firefighter memorialized with Staten Island street sign

The corner of Katan and Getz Avenues in Staten Island was renamed Captain John Graziano Way, reports Diane C. Lore of theĀ Staten Island Advance.

Captain Graziano was an FDNY officer who worked at the site of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks and died of site-related cancer last year. He was 63. He had retired as the captain of Ladder 78.
