Friends of fallen 9/11 FDNY Captain Vernon Richard want Brooklyn school named for him

A group called “Friends of the Late Captain Vernon Richard” have been trying since 2011 to rename a school in Brooklyn after the FDNY Captain who was killed while responding to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
