Flag ceremonies at Flight 93 Memorial support fundraising, offer respects

The Flight 93 National Memorial is flying flags over the memorial to honor the passengers and crew of United Flight 93 and to raise funds for the maintenance of the memorial, reports Mary Pickels in the Tribune-Review.

Participants in each flag ceremony say names of those aboard the flight, salute, or make other respectful gestures. The participants are Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial, some of whom are family members of those aboard Flight 93.
