FDNY probie Brendan Stackpole follows footsteps of hero firefighter dad who died at World Trade Center on 9/11

A  November 7, 2015 article by Denis Slattery in the New York Daily News tells the story of Brendan Stackpole, 23, becoming an FDNY firefighter in the 150th anniversary class. Stackpole is the son of Captain Timothy Stackpole, who came back to work after horrific line of duty injuries only to die in the line of duty responding to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
