A message from our friends at the Twin Towers Scholarship Fund:
The Families of Freedom Fund (managed by Scholarship America) includes the Twin Towers Scholarship Fund, which will award a scholarship of $5,000 per academic year, for up to four years, to surviving children and spouses who received benefits from the Twin Towers Fund.
There is no means test or requirement to complete a financial questionnaire to receive this scholarship. From October 1, 2013, though December 31, 2013, $232,000 in scholarships were awarded.
