The fifth annual Myrtle Beach Never Forgets Memorial Golf Outing will take place from Sunday, May 22, 2016 to Wednesday, May 25, 2016. This event incorporates the Al Ronaldson Golf Outing and the 9/11 Memorial Golf Outing, and is run by firefighters for firefighters to raise money for the Firefighter Cancer Support Network. The fifteenth annual Leonard W. Hatton Memorial Golf Classic, in honor of the only FBI agent killed in the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001, will take place on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Colts Neck, NJ. A 10-13 benefit will be held for Detective Johnny Walker on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm at Mount Saint Michael Academy in the Bronx. Detective Walker has been diagnosed with colon cancer from his work during the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center. The eighth annual Lt. Chuck Margiotta FDNY Brains, Brawn Bravery Motorcycle Event will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016.Registration begins at 10:00am and ends at noon. Kickstands go up at 12:00pm.
