Metro New York Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) Chapter presents their third annual fundraiser on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Mulcahy’s of Wantagh. The fifth annual Mark Ellis Memorial Walk will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Farmingdale State College. The walk honors P.O. Mark Ellis of the NYPD, who was killed at the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Registration for the walk begins at 9:00am, and the walk itself starts at 10:00am. The annual NYPD Retired Emergency Man’s Association Day of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015, from 10:30 until 2:30pm at Floyd Bennett Field. The annual JR’s Angels bowling night fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Brunswick Zone Turnersville. Check-in will begin at 5:00pm.
