The Foundation for the Revival of Classical Culture will present four performances of Mozart’s Requiem near or on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks in four locations – the Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Morristown, NJ — in memory of those killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack and its aftermath. The annual Alicia Titus Memorial Run for Peace will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016. The 5-K run and 1-mile walk will begin at 9:00am at the Urbana University Student Center. Participants will proceed through Monument Square and Freedom Grove before the run/walk ends at the student center. The annual Walk with Joe will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 10:00am in Monmouth Battlefield State Park in Manalapan, NJ. Registration begins at 8:30am. Patrick “Joe” Driscoll, 70, was aboard Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. William Thompson, Mitchell Wallace, and Thomas Jurgens, New York State Supreme Court officers killed while helping people escape the World Trade Center, will be honored at a ceremony at the Riverfront Green in Peekskill on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 5:00pm.
