Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and have a day of fun for the whole family at Baldwin Park on Saturday, October 25, 2014. The day begins with the half-mile kids fun run at 9:00am. On Friday, October 24, 2014 at 7:00pm a fundraiser will be held for FDNY Lieutenant Tom Bohn, who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident on Medal Day 2014. Lt. Bohn was hospitalized for several months for his injuries and will require extensive rehabilitation. The fundraiser will be held at The Main Event in Farmingdale.
