9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:00am, a plaque dedication will be held honoring the memory of Firefighter Keith E. Atlas of Engine 35, who died of World Trade Center-related illness on April 4, 2014. Keith’s brother, Lt. Gregg Atlas, was killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The 119th running of the Boston Marathon will take place on Monday, April 20, 2015. Since the bombing of the finish line at the 2013 race, the day will always mark the murders of Krystle Campbell, Lingzi Lu and Martin Richard as well as that of MIT Police Officer Sean Collier, who was shot by the bombers during the manhunt. April 19, 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. 168 people were murdered in the bombing, including 19 children. Hundreds were injured. The remembrance ceremony will be held at 9:02am on Saturday, April 19, 2015, the moment of the bombing, at the Oklahoma City National Memorial. On Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:00am, the Lt. John G. Bellew Memorial 5-K run will be held at the Pearl River Volunteer Firehouse in Pearl River, NY.
