Retired Battalion Chief Vincent J. Fowler has died at the age of 88. In addition to a 40-year FDNY career, Chief Fowler was a World War II veteran, serving with the US Marine Corps. Retired FDNY Lieutenant John Dillon has died. He had worked at Ladder 17 and Rescue 3 before becoming lieutenant at Rescue 4. One of Lt. Dillon’s last jobs was working at the recovery effort at the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks. This year’s Wall-O’Mahony Memorial Basketball Game at Johns Hopkins University will be played on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Goldfarb Gym. Glen Wall and Matt O’Mahony played basketball in 1984 at Johns Hopkins. Their former teammates honor them with an annual game played during alumni weekend.
