The deadline to register for a September 11th Victims’ Compensation Fund (Zadroga) claim for KNOWN symptoms, diagnoses and disabilities is October 2013.
The deadline to register for a September 11th Victims’ Compensation Fund claim for any NEW symptoms & diagnoses is October 2016.
There are THREE steps involved in making a claim: 1. You must register (this is easy). 2. You must establish eligibility and receive your claim number. 3. You must apply for compensation. The process is complex — 80% of claimants are using attorneys — but it is possible to register without an attorney.
When making any inquiry about your case, you must have your claim number. (Note: a claim number can also be called a “claimant identification number” or a “case number”.)

The 12th annual 3256 Foundation Golf Outing for Sgt. Michael S. Curtin will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Woods at Cherry Creek Golf Course in Riverhead, NY.
Sgt. Michael Curtin was a sergeant major in the US Marine Corps and a sergeant in Truck 2 of the NYPD’s elite Emergency Services Unit. He was a devoted family man to his wife and 3 daughters. He was 45.

The 10th annual Robin Kaplan Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Sunday, July 14 and Monday, July 15, 2013 at Lake of Isles Golf Course at Foxwoods Resorts and Casino.
The tournament is played in a scramble format with each foursome consisting of 3 players and a celebrity.
Funds raised at the golf outing go to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America’s Camp Oasis, a co-ed residential camp program for children with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Since all of the campers (and most of the adults) at CampOasis have these conditions too, the children who attend are surrounded by people who understand. As Robin had Crohn’s disease, this cause was dear to her.
Robin Kaplan was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11, travelling for her job at TJ Maxx on September 11, 2001 when terrorists flew her plane into Tower 1 of the World Trade Center.

The annual Peter Siracuse Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Monday July 15, 2013 at the Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington, NY.
The price per golfer is $225.00, which includes golf, cart, breakfast, lunch, dinner and open bar. Attending the dinner only will cost $75.00.

The annual Chris’ Chance Golf Outing. The 7th annual golf outing in honour of Christian DeSimone will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Crystal Golf Resort in Hamburg, NJ.
The fee to golf is $225.00 per person, which includes breakfast, banquet lunch & 2-hour beer, wine, soda during lunch, event logo golf shirt, golfer goody bag, all-day beer and beverages on course and participant photo.
