9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Family barbeque fundraiser for Huntington Beach CA 9/11 Memorial

On Sunday, September 8, 2013, from 11:00am– 4:00pm, the Huntington Beach 9/11 Memorial Committee will host a family barbeque at Newland House.

Huntington Beach firefighters are doing the cooking, so expect some great barbeque! Lots of family entertainment, including a bounce house, magician, and face painting. There will be live music and dancing, great raffle prizes and fun silent auction items.

Tickets are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for children ages 6-12. Children under 6 are admitted for no charge. Tickets will go on sale beginning in June.

Compensation hearing – Svonavec Inc. & Flight 93 Memorial

The Western District Court in Pittsburgh has decided that a three-person panel will hear the voluntary condemnation of the Svonavec Inc. property on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 9:00am. This is to determine compensation amounts. Svonavec owned the land that United Flight 93 crashed on on September 11, 2001.
