9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The fourth annual Firefighters for America’s Bravest Valentine’s Benefit Dinner on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 5:00pm at Li Greci’s Staaten. The event is sponsored by the FF Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and benefits severely wounded veterans. Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s “Superman” concert to benefit family of NYPD Detective/Technical SSG Joseph Lemm
The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will host a concert to benefit the family of NYPD Detective Joseph Lemm, who was killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan while serving with the Air National Guard’s 105th Base Security Squadron last month. Technical Sergeant Joseph Lemm, 45, known as “Superman”, was one of six US military personnel killed on December 21, 2015 when a terrorist rode a motorcycle into them outside Bagram Air Base, and detonated a bomb. The 15th annual FF Michael J. Cawley Memorial Fund party will take place from 3:00pm until 8:00pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Mulcahy’s in Wantagh. The party for Michael includes live music, a large buffet of hot food, drink specials, live and silent auctions, and a fabulous raffle. There is a suggested donation of $25.00 at the door.
