9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Friday, November 20, 2015, the 33rd annual ‘Battle of the Badges’ FDNY/NYPD boxing tournament will be held at Madison Square Garden. Doors open at 7:00pm. Security will be very tight — please arrive early to accomodate. As in years past, both the NYPD and the FDNY will donate the funds they raise to good causes. Lone Star Rumble – FDNY Rumblers to ride across US for Hope for the Warriors

The FDNY Rumblers, a group of motorcycle-riding firefighters from South Bronx firehouses, will ride more than 3,500 miles this summer to raise funds for Hope for the Warriors®. The Rumblers include Afghanistan and Iraq war veterans, and firefighters who responded to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and who worked the recovery effort. They are all from Battalion 14 of the FDNY. Each rider has pledged to raise at least $2,000.00. This is their third annual fundraising ride.…
