9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Greensboro Fire Department will host their third annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at 9:00am on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Bellemeade Parking Deck. The stair climb honors the 343 firefighters and 72 police officers who were murdered during the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center. Run an exclusive “vertical marathon” and fight a killer disease. For 36 years, the Empire State Building Run-up has been notoriously difficult to enter.
