9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The annual PurpleStride® New York City 2015 5-K Run and Family-Friendly Walk will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Brooklyn’s famed Prospect Park.Pancreatic cancer is the fourth deadliest cancer in the US and is set to become the second deadliest by 2020. On Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:00am, the names of rescue and recovery workers who have died of World Trade Center illnesses will be added to the Responders Remembered Memorial Wall at 9/11 Responders Remembered Park. More than 1,500 rescue and recovery workers have died of site-related illnesses. Many more are sick.
