9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Retired FF Patrick Finegan (formerly of Engine 69) is currently a patient at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City being treated for World Trade Center related cancer. He needs regular blood and platelet transfusions. Donations of blood or platelets would be greatly appreciated. To benefit Patrick, all donations must be made in the Blood Donor Room of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and designated for him. FDNY Lt. Jon Sezak is currently a patient at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, being treated for a World Trade Center-related blood disorder. His illness requires regular blood and platelet transfusions. In order for Lt. Sezak to receive them, all designated blood donations must be made in the Blood Donor Room at Memorial Sloan Kettering, which is open Friday through Monday from 8:30am to 3:00pm and on Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am to 7:00pm.
