Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FF Daniel O’Shea Urgently Needs a Kidney Donation

FDNY firefighter Daniel O’Shea, 38, of Engine 316 is urgently in need of a kidney donation. FF O’Shea has been diagnosed with iGa nephropathy. This is not currently a disease that has been officially linked to the World Trade Center site after the terrorist attacks, but as his family has no history of the disease, it is certainly possible that his work at the site is responsible for his illness.
