Run an exclusive “vertical marathon” and fight a killer disease.
For 36 years, the Empire State Building Run-up has been notoriously difficult to enter. But in 2013, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation will field a team of 100 to run. Applications are being accepted now.
Runners’ ability to raise funds for MMRF and their connection to myeloma will be taken into consideration in the team selection process. A team raising awareness for the devastation multiple myeloma has caused to the September 11th community would be invaluable.
The minimum amount to raise is $2,500.
Runners may apply individually or in teams of three.
