The annual fundraiser for the Honor Elizabeth Wainio Communications Scholarship at Towson University will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at Ropewalk Tavern in Baltimore.
A donation of $40.00 per person includes an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, music, family, friends, Baltimore icons, reflective photos — a celebration of life.

The 11th annual Friends of Marty Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Skyview Golf Club in Sparta, NJ.
Registration will take place from 11:00am to 12:30pm, with the driving range available from 11:30am to 12:45pm. Golf begins with a shotgun start at 1:00pm. A buffet dinner will begin at 5:30pm.
The fee for golf and dinner is $130.00 per golfer, which is all-inclusive. To join the group for dinner only will be $35.00. To reserve your place now, please click here. All proceeds raised benefit the Friends and Family of Martin Boryczewski Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a student of Morris Catholic High School who has consistently demonstrated “character, community and commitment”.

Martin Boryczewski was 29 and working for Cantor Fitzgerald on September 11, 2001. He had been a minor league baseball player and was a passionate fly fisherman.

The seventh annual Mike Andrews Memorial Open will be held at the Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield, CT on Friday, October, 19, 2012
The fee to play is $400.00/golfer; $1,600/foursome. All proceeds will benefit the Michael R. Andrews ’89 Scholarship at Fairfield University.

At 6:00pm on Saturday, October 13, 2012, the first annual FF Michael T. Carroll Memorial Dinner Dance will take place at his old grammar school, St. Joseph’s Yorkville in Manhattan.
A fee of $40.00 at the door will include dinner, live music & DJ. There will also be a cash bar with wine, beer and soda.
All money raised benefits the FF Michael T. Carroll Memorial Scholarship, which helps students from Michael’s high school, La Salle Academy, further their education.

The Ken Waldie Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012, from 6:00pm to midnight at the Jugo-Slav Club in Bethel Park.
A full house is expected for this celebration, so it will be a pre-pay event. The fee is $25.00 per person (pre-pay only). In addition to celebrating the life of Ken Waldie, who was killed on September 11, 2001 when his plane, American Flight 11, was flown by terrorists into Tower 1 of the World Trade Center.
There will be a cash bar, substantial hors d’oeuvres, and desserts. Casual dress and ‘70s music are required.

At 8:00pm on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Riccardo’s by the Bridge in Astoria, the FDNY Hispanic Society Scholarship Dinner Dance will be held. Cocktail hour is fro 8:00pm-9:00pm with dinner to follow.
Tickets are $85.00 per person in advance. The fee includes 3 dinner choices, beverages, live music and free parking. There will also be a $50.00 per ticket raffle for a $5,000 prize. Proceeds benefit the FDNY Hispanic Society Scholarship Fund.
