Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The fifth annual Mark Ellis Memorial Walk will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Farmingdale State College. The walk honors P.O. Mark Ellis of the NYPD, who was killed at the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Registration for the walk begins at 9:00am, and the walk itself starts at 10:00am.
