9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The officers and members of R-4, E-325 and L-163 will mark the fifteenth anniversary of the 2001 Father’s Day fire with a Memorial Mass honoring FF Harry S. Ford of Rescue 4, FF Brian D. On Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 10:00am, the Church of the Assumption in Staten Island will hold a Mass to celebrate the feast of St. Florian, the patron saint of firefighters in honor of all members of the FDNY. Immediately following the Mass, there will be a ceremony honoring all FDNY members who have died in the line of duty at the nearby Chapel of St. Paul. Boston’s Old South Church, now often known as the Church of the Finish Line for its proximity to the site of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, will hold an interfaith Service of Resiliency on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2:30pm.
