On Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 11:00am, a plaque dedication will be held honoring the memory of Lieutenant Richard Nappi of Engine 237, who was killed in the line of duty on April 16, 2012.
The dedication will take place in the quarters of E-237. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform. A collation will immediately follow from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

On Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 10:00am, Engine 24/Ladder 5/Battalion 2 will host a memorial Mass honoring the memory of Captain John J. Drennan, FF James F. Young, and FF Christopher J. Siedenburg, all of whom made the supreme sacrifice on March 28, 1994.
The Mass will take place at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend.

This year’s Palm Sunday Mass will take place at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance.
Mass is held rain or shine; in case of rain, Mass will be held at nearby Our Lady of Solace.

The annual Christmas Eve service for children and families will take place at Trinity Church on Monday, December 24, 2012 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. The Trinity Youth Chorus will sing Ives, Rorem, and Rutter at this service.
A more traditional Christmas Eve service will be held from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, with music from the Family Choir and by the congregation.
From 10:00pm to 11:45pm, the Choral Prelude and Christmas Eve Festive Eucharist will take place at Trinity.
At St. Paul’s Chapel, the midnight Mass begins at 11:00pm on December 24, 2012.

This year, there will be two Christmas Eve midnight Masses for family members, survivors, rescue & recovery workers near the site of the World Trade Center.
One will begin at 11:00pm near the family entrance on West and Albany Streets.
The other will be Father Jordan’s final midnight Mass on the steps of the Brooks Brothers (1 Liberty Plaza) near the corner of Church Street and Cortlandt Street at 11:45pm.
Requests to go onto the Memorial Plaza for midnight Mass were denied.
