9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Screening of new documentary “16 Acres”

16 Acres, a 90-minute film about the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site after the terrorist attacks, will premiere at 8:00pm on Thursday, October 18, 2012 as a selection of the 2012 Architecture & Design Film Festival at the Allen Room in Lincoln Center.

16 Acres will also be shown at Tribeca Cinemas on Friday, October 19, 2012 (at 7:00pm) and Sunday, October 21, 2012 (at 7:15pm) after the film’s premiere.

There will be a Q&A with the filmmakers after each screening.

9/11 Concert and screening of From the Ground Up to benefit Tuesday’s Children

The Presbyterian Church of Pleasantville will hold a September 11th  benefit for Tuesday’s Children on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 4:00pm.

Pleasantville resident Andrea Garbarini’s documentary From the Ground Up, the story of several September 11th widows, will be shown and Garbarini will speak.

The a capella group Sing We Enchanted will sing Songs of Nostalgia and Remembrance.

There is a $20.00 suggested donation and all proceeds will benefit Tuesday’s Children.
