Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The annual Johnny Mac Foundation Wish Gala will be held at the Westbury Manor on Saturday, March 8, 2014, beginning with cocktails at 8:00pm. Dinner and dancing will follow the cocktail hour. On Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:00am, a plaque dedication will be held honoring the memory of Lieutenant Martin Fullam, of Ladder 87, who died of the World Trade Center-related illnesses polymyositis and pulmonary fibrosis on January 28, 2013. The 9th annual James D. McNaughton Benefit will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 1:00pm–8:00pm at Mulcahy’s Pub in Wantagh. Remembrance Wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery will be removed on Saturday, January 25, 2014. There is no rain or snow date. Please remember that it is just as important to remove the wreaths as it is to place them.
