9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The NYPD will hold a parade in honor of the 23 NYPD officers lost during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and the 99 who have died of site-related illnesses afterwards. William Thompson, Mitchell Wallace, and Thomas Jurgens, New York State Supreme Court officers killed while helping people escape the World Trade Center, will be honored at a ceremony at the Riverfront Green in Peekskill on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 5:00pm.
