Together as One for One – an NYPD benefit for wounded Boston Police Officer Richard Donohue

The NYPD Emerald Society will host Together as One for One — a benefit to assist the family of PO Richard Donohue with medical bills – on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Legends NYC.

Police Officer Richard Donohue was the officer wounded in the shootout with the bombers after the Boston Marathon bombing. He was critically wounded, lost a great deal of blood and was near death when he arrived at the hospital. In his own words, “I am now awake, moving around, talking and telling jokes…much to my wife’s dismay.” Officer Donohue’s recovery will be long and expensive.

Tickets are $70.00, which include a full open bar, buffet dinner, celebrity appearances, prizes, etc.
