9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On the second anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, Wednesday, October 29, 2014, Staten Island Long-Term Recovery Organization will host several remembrance events. At 4:00pm, there will be a Resiliency Walk on the Boardwalk at Sand Avenue and Father Capodanno Boulevard by Dolphins, followed by a community supper at the picnic area at Lincoln and Midland Avenues. From 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, the two-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, Monmouth County Long-Term Recovery Group will host a resource fair at Port Monmouth VFW for those still in need. More than 20 organizations will be on hand to help with case management, mental health issues, finance, legal services, and more. The Joseph Maffeo Foundation will join the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to host a Hurricane Sandy relief concert at the St. George Theatre on Staten Island on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Where to Turn and the Secret Sandy Claus Project are helping Santa to distribute 15,000 toys to children impacted by Hurricane Sandy this Christmas. Their project spans Staten Island, Long Island and New Jersey.
