FF Carl Vincent Bini Staten Island Strong Golf Outing for hurricane relief

The FF Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund will present the Staten Island Strong Golf Outing on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Silver Lake Golf Course on Staten Island.

The fee to participate is $150.00 per golfer.

The FF Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund was founded in memory of the Rescue 5 firefighter who made the supreme sacrifice at the World Trade Center. The non-profit has pledged a two-year funding drive to help Hurricane Sandy victims in Staten Island.

Golf “Fore” America’s Bravest with the FF Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation

Help the FF Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation”s Building for America’s Bravest build “smart” homes for triple and quadruple amputees from the war. On Monday, November 12, 2012, Golf ”Fore” America’s Bravest will host four simultaneous golf tournaments, each with an 11:00am cannon start.

You can golf at 4 different courses – Latourette, RCCC and Silver Lake Golf Club on Staten Island, and Dyker Beach Golf Club in Brooklyn. Golf at RCCC will be decided by lottery. Dinner will be held after golf at Nicotra’s Ballroom on Staten Island. Free buses will take golfers in Brooklyn to the dinner.

The fee for golf and dinner is $175.00. The fee for dinner only is $75.00. Sponsorships are available.

11th annual Friends of Marty Golf Outing Honouring Marty Boryczewski

The 11th annual Friends of Marty Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Skyview Golf Club in Sparta, NJ.

Registration will take place from 11:00am to 12:30pm, with the driving range available from 11:30am to 12:45pm. Golf begins with a shotgun start at 1:00pm. A buffet dinner will begin at 5:30pm.

The fee for golf and dinner is $130.00 per golfer, which is all-inclusive. To join the group for dinner only will be $35.00. This scholarship is awarded to a student of Morris Catholic High School who has consistently demonstrated “character, community and commitment”.

The Angie Houtz Memorial Golf  Tournament to benefit the Angie Houtz Memorial Fund will be held on October 19, 2012.

The fee to golf (if paid before October 10, 2012) is $125.00 per golfer or $480.00 per foursome.

Angie Houtz was a Pentagon civilian employee on September 11, 2001. She was killed by terrorists at the Pentagon five days after her 27th birthday.

Golf Outing & Dinner to Benefit Roman Ducalo, Jr.

A golf outing to benefit little Roman Ducalo, Jr. is set for Friday, October 12, 2012 at LaTourette Golf Course in Staten Island. Roman, whose father is a firefighter, is  20 months old. He was born with a very rare tumor in his chest wall. During the surgery to resect the tumor, the doctors had to remove several ribs, which has compromised Roman’s breathing and lung growth. He relies on nasal oxygen or ventilator support to breathe.

Roman is a happy boy who has had to endure ten surgeries so far, including placement of expandable prosthetic titanium ribs. He will be required to undergo surgeries every three to four months until he stops growing as a young adult.

The golf outing for Roman will cost $200.00 for golf and dinner; $125.00 for golf only and $75.00 for dinner only. Registration begins at noon. The driving range opens at noon as well.  The putting contest starts at noon too. The shotgun start is at 1:00pm. Dinner, a Southwestern barbecue, is at 6:00pm. Staten Island Winery will hold a wine tasting event at dinner.

Many prizes will be raffled offf – including Giants tickets and helicopter rides.
