His wake is scheduled from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 and Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Fredericks Funeral Home in Flushing.
His funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 10:15am at St. Kevin’s Catholic Church in Flushing.

The 32nd Annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service will take place on the West Front of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11:00am sharp.
The Memorial Service is expected to run approximately 2 hours.
All are welcome. Last year 40,000 attended the Service. There is special accomodation for the families of fallen officers. Please click here for family information and here to register as a family member.
The Wreath Laying Ceremony will be held immediately following the Memorial Service at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, located in the 400 block of E Street, NW.
