9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The NYPD will play the FDNY on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 2:00pm at Brooklyn’s MCU Park in the 44th annual Fun City Bowl to benefit the NYPD PBA Widows’ and Children’s Fund and the FDNY Fire Families Transport Foundation. New York Jets center Nick Mangold will serve as co-captain of the NYPD, and New York Giants running back Shane Vereen will serve in the same capacity for the FDNY.
