9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Free tickets to the National September 11 Memorial Museum will be available to family members of those killed in the 9/11 attacks, rescue and recovery workers, active-duty first responders, survivors of the attacks, current Lower Manhattan residents and business owners (below Canal Street), and those who lived or owned businesses in Lower Manhattan on September 11, 2001 on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Dedication of PATH Car 745 – part of the PATH Train that Survived the Terrorist Attacks of 9/11 – East Haven, CT
On Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 12:00pm, the Shore Line Trolley Museum will dedicate PATH Car 745 and show it to the public for the first time. Car 745 was the lead car in the PATH train that survived the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. All passengers aboard the train were unharmed. The New York City Fire Museum will mark the fifteenth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the loss of 343 of their members with a memorial service on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 1:00pm. The Catholic community of Saints Peter and Paul will present a September 11th Memorial Concert on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 4:00pm. The concert is free and all are welcome.
