Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Skywalkers: The Legacy of the Mohawk Ironworker at the World Trade Center is a new exhibit by artist Melissa Cacciola at the Staten Island Museum History Center at Snug Harbor. Skywalkers is a collection of tintype portraits and interviews of World Trade Center ironworkers from the Kahnawake reservation in Canada. All 30 of the ironworkers are Mohawk. A new exhibit entitled Better Angels: Firefighters of 9/11 that is on display at the Wood Museum of Springfield History features portraits of the 343 FDNY firefighters who were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
