9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The ninth annual Ken Waldie Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 6:00pm – midnight at the Jugo-Slav Club in Bethel Park, PA. There will be a cash bar. On Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:00 noon, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America will preside over the Ground Blessing ceremony for the St. Nicholas National Shrine at the World Trade Center. The Swim for the Future swim meet and scholarship presentation will take place at 5:30pm on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the AquaCenter on the Upper East Side. Doors will open at 5:30pm; the scholarship presentation will be held at 6:00pm; the swim meet runs from 6:20pm to 8:30pm.
