9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The fourth annual Red Bandanna Golf Classic will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Patriot Hills Golf Club in Stony Point. The awards dinner will follow the day’s golf. The 13th annual Bill Kelly, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Friday, October 10, 2014, at Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Point, NJ. Registration, lunch and use of the practice range are between 10:00am and noon, with a shotgun start at 12:30pm. The fee for the day is $200.00, which is all-inclusive. A fundraiser to support the Honor Elizabeth Wainio ’95 Memorial Communications Scholarship will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Ropewalk Tavern in Baltimore. Lizz Wainio, an alumna of Towson University, was a passenger aboard United Flight 93 during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. She was 27.
