9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Flight 93 Memorial’s annual Luminaria Program will take place on the eve of the anniversary of the attacks, Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Forty candle lanterns, one for each passenger and crew member of Flight 93, will be placed at the Wall of Names. The Bridgeton, NJ Fire Department will host its annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb starting at 8:00am on Friday, September 11, 2015. The climb honors the memory of the firefighters who raced into the World Trade Center, 343 of whom were killed that day. Many of the survivors are very sick today. A wreath-laying and moment of silence for the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 will take place at the Middletown [NJ] WTC Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 8:46am, the moment when American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
