9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The seventh annual Lt. Chuck Margiotta FDNY Brains, Brawn Bravery Motorcycle Event will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015. The ride begins and ends at Monsignor Farrell High School on Staten Island. The La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego is holding the world premiere of Come from Away, a new musical about the people of the small town of Gander, Nova Scotia hosting more than 6,000 stranded airline passengers on September 11, 2001 after US airspace was closed after the terrorist attacks.
